Where the road ends and the beautiful archipelago starts you will find Arkösund - the gateway to the archipelago. It is situated 50 km from Norrköping for those taking the land route. Many visitors also come by other routes.
Bicycle in Bråvikslandet
Bring your bike and glide on two wheels along Bråviken through Kolmården wood or along Vikbolandets fertile plains. Make your way on asphalt, gravel and forest roads.
The Getå ravine (Getåravinen)
Geological formations, woods, flowers, lakes and water streams. This ravine was created as a fracture for 200 million years ago.
In Glottern forest you can wander through the beautiful old-growth forests or swim in lakes Glottern clear waters. If it is cold, you can warm up in the sauna!
Göta Canal is one of Sweden's most famous tourist sites. The canal starts its meandering journey from Mem just outside Norrköping and ends 58 locks and 190 km later at Sjötorp next to Vänern.
The Marble Quarry (Marmorbruket)
Marmorbruket ( The Marble Quarry) is beautifully situated on Bråviken's north side on a steep fault. Kolmårdsmarble is known worldwide and marble has been mined here in installments from the 1700th until the 1970th.
Just 10 minutes by boat south of Arkösund is scenic islands of Kopparholmarna. Here you can hiking and swim from both the beach and cliffs or visit a Nature Exibition.

Vikbolandet peninsula east of Norrköping bordered to the north to Bråviken and in the south to Slätbaken. There are those who call Vikbolandet, Östergötlands Österlen. Here you will find open landscape, fertile farmland, sea and forests with wild animals, mushrooms and berries. There are also cows, pigs, goats, ostriches, turkeys and deer. And a glass factory!
